  1. Look at those precious faces! They look like they are having such a great time, although Noah appears a bit unimpressed. He’s the sweetest little Sheriff.

Have a wonderful 4th of July, Pozners!

  2. I know, Ves, it makes me think of those times when kids are looking extra cute & lots of parents are taking photos from different directions! Noah & Arielle are both looking in the same direction & I bet Noah was thinking, ” Ok, look, I’m cool with my outfit. But is this really the fastest way to catch those lily-livered bank robbers?”.

  3. wow, what a cute picture Lenny. They had a great time as cowboys. You take your kids so many places, they do so many nice things, they are so fortunate to have you as parents. I always think of Noah…

This Friday we’ll have a 4th of July event here at school and we’ll make brownies with the kids and do special activities related to the Independence Day. I’ll then publish an article about the event on the school’s website in which I’ll first explain a little bit about that special day and I wondered if you allow us to use this great picture of your kids to be part of the article, as American kids in a 4th of July celebration. The article would be similar to last years article and your great picture could be in the first part where we explain to the Spanish families what is typical in the US on July 4th:

Please let me know if you think that this would be possible. I hope it’s okay I ask, I just immediately thought I would want to share this cute picture

Sending you a lot of love and strength and best wishes from overseas

  4. So cute! They’re riding in style! Was that the town’s parade? Do you know the Shulls? Lee and Julie and their twins. Julie is a teacher at Reed Intermediate. Olivia and Ian are teens now.

  5. Oh Lenny, I just read where the groundbreaking ceremony for Noah’s playground will take place on July 25th. How I wish I could be there. I truly hope they capture the essence of him in the design. A remarkable little boy that I believe we have all come to love and remember as if he were our very own.

  6. Dan Geiger On our way to the White Sox game! Tailgating and Miller Lite fireworks show. Probably will be able to see Navy Piers show leaving the ballpark as well as many others lighting up the sky on the drive home. Happy 4th to all!!!

  7. I was supposed to have a barbecue with my family today, but my cousin lives out East and couldn’t get into town until tomorrow because of the weather, so it’ll be tomorrow.  I went to the parade this morning and I’m going to the fireworks tonight.  I’m not a White Sox fan, but hope you enjoy the game.

  8. The thought occurred to me just now as I keep hearing fireworks all around, that maybe that could make for some challenges for the girls…prayers to you all that they are doing well and that it was a wonderful day for all of you.

  9. I just saw on the thesandygroundproject website that the ribbon cutting for Noah’s playground will be on July 27th. July 27th will be our Noah’s 9th birthday. We will think of you, your Noah and the rest of your family on that special day and we hope to fly to New York in August to visit Noah’s place. I am so very sad for Noah and for you, he should have celebrated his 7th birthday and 8th birthday and 9th birthday and 10th birthday …

    Love u little man
